| The CELLER COOPERATIU from
Salelles The
cooperative "Celler Cooperatiu from
Salelles, SCCL" was founded in the 1926
spring. A team of 58 farmers started building
their own cellar cooperative.
They, in common, elaborated their grapes in order
to transforme them in unfermented grape juice and
wine. Also they made the convenient oakmaturing
to their products and the right comercial
sending.
The Salelles Cooperative was born to improve the
prices and the qualities of their products.

The
equipments has been extended by the cooperative
in course of years, until today. Quality is
requested by the market, so winegrowers have
planted the most apreciated varieties to give
better wines.
With the effort between producers and
manufacturers from Pla de Bages, this region was
managed the recognisement of Denominación de
Origen Pla de Bages. |
